Welcome, everyone.
Please take your seats. Don't mind the restraints on your chairs, those are just for show. I promise. Is everyone sitting down? Alright we can begin then.
Long ago in ancient times there was a tournament where the most powerful beings smashed each others skulls in. Not that all of them had a skull but that's beside the point. These were called the Match of the Century/Millennium. However due to public complaints of gratuitous violence, water pollution (the blood had to go somewhere), overdue parking tickets and far too much noise pollution, these tournaments were cancelled.
However we have finally raised enough funds to bring them back! Most of these funds came from the bake-a-convocation-bird sale we did a few months ago. That and from us begging the Slender man for some cash he earned from his awful acting career.
For this new revamped version of the tournament the Fears themselves have picked their champions. These champions have been pulled from the Fear mythos writer community. Let's introduce your eight new champions who will battle to the death!

Name: Tod the Reckless
Description: Long wavy reddish hair done in a ponytail, Israeli military surplus gas mask, black hoodie, jeans, and steel toed boots
Fear Championed: The Plague Doctor
Fear Power: Immunosuppression
Personal Power: Silent Movement
Weapon: Novichok Gas Grenades
Additional Notes: Skitchy kid fresh out of high school and full of anarchic vigor

Name: Bryn
Description: Has fluffy indigo hair; wears a black beanie, a brown overcoat, and grey jeans. Generally prefers to stay at a distance, using magic to keep from having to get in close quarters in the first place.
Fear Championed: The Glass Cat.
Fear Power: Fangs and claws.
Personal Power: Elemental magic: lightning bolts, fireballs, blasts of wind, the works. Pretty varied in usage, and useful for ranged combat, but needs rituals to actually utilize; more powerful spells' rituals are more complicated, and therefore take longer to set up.
Weapon: A bow and two knives

Description: Skinny guy, late twenties, long brown hair, brown eyes, glasses, black and white plaid hoody.
Fear Championed: The Archangel
Fear Power: Firing powerful, semi-solid blasts of a black, mist-like substance from the palms of my hands.
Personal Power: Able to drastically increase my physical strength and speed for short periods of time.
Weapon: This baby;
Additional Notes: I'm decent with a sword and have some martial arts experience.

Description: adorable Eldritch Cat-Kraken
Fear Championed: Masked God
Fear Power: Large extending Tentacles that lash out and crush things.
Personal Power: Art creation (can make anything they draw real. Drawback being that it takes time to draw these things.)
Weapon: Teeth
Additional Notes: They ride around on a cloud.

Description: Black leather jacket with black feathers on the collar, a bird skull on the left shoulder with dark grey armor going from the shoulder all the way to the fingers, ending in claws, black shirt, dark blue jeans, brown boots, tan skin, black hair in a pony tail, hazel-ish colored eyes, kinda short, keeps a pouch in inner pocket.
Fear Championed: Valravn
Fear Power: Black ball lightning- Lightning in bomb form for when you just need to shock and awe your opponent! Requires a recharge time of half an hour as the explosions aren't all that big. And there is no way to make them be stronger.
Personal Power: Minor Illusion casting, requires a white feather to cast.
Weapon(s): Cane-sword with raven skull head.
Additional Notes: Is adverse to fighting, but can also be spiteful.

Fear Championed: The Quiet Personal weapon: A ceremonial dagger, forged from damascus steel and intricately etched. Fear Power: Can phase in and out of existence. Personal power: Can cook a mean chuck steak.
Additional
notes; Almost never uses his dagger in a fight, preferring hand-to-hand
combat, and improvising weapons from what he can find.
